Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently seeking a Dispatcher to support a distribution center in Ladson, SC. Summary This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client partnerships while ensuring their warehousing and distribution requirements are handled efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is highly responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison for designated customers, fostering long-term business relationships. Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding order status, questions, service concerns, and other business needs. Partner with internal operations and support teams to facilitate accurate and timely order processing. Review orders, pricing, specifications, and supporting documentation to confirm accuracy and alignment with established requirements. Keep organized and up-to-date records of customer communications, transactions, orders, and related account information. Monitor inventory activity and work with appropriate teams to help maintain adequate product availability. Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams to support accurate shipments, on-time delivery, and compliance with customer service expectations. Take ownership of customer concerns involving orders, shipments, invoicing, or other service-related issues and drive them through resolution. Communicate recurring customer concerns, trends, and improvement opportunities to leadership.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required. Candidates will ideally have a background in customer support, hospitality, account management or a similar service industry. Training will be provided! Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients effectively. Excellent communication skills with proficiency in conveying complex information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, including proper email etiquette. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

Additional Information:
Hours:

Mon - Fri, 7:00am - 4:00pm Reporting to Office Manager Training available; no prior logistics experience is necessary On-site role in a distribution center and truck yard environment where truck drivers are being checked in/out.
