PM Starting Pay:

$16-$18 per hour, based on experience

Bonus:

Monthly bonus eligibility beginning after 90 days

After-Hours Rotation:

Approximately one week per month, with additional compensation We are looking for a dependable, organized and technology-comfortable individual to join our team as a Logistics / Brokerage Dispatcher . This is a fast-paced office position that requires someone who can manage multiple tasks at the same time, communicate professionally with drivers, carriers and customers, and stay organized as priorities change throughout the day. What You'll Do Coordinate and monitor freight movements throughout the day Communicate with drivers, carriers and customers by phone, email and electronic systems Track loads and follow up to ensure pickups and deliveries remain on schedule Update shipment and dispatch information accurately Respond to changes, delays and other issues as they occur Manage multiple active shipments, conversations and priorities at the same time Work with the rest of the team to resolve transportation and customer-service issues Participate in the rotating after-hours phone schedule approximately one week per month What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is comfortable learning and working with technology and multiple computer systems Can multitask without losing attention to detail Has strong verbal and written communication skills Is dependable and punctual Can remain organized in a fast-paced environment Is comfortable communicating by phone throughout the day Takes initiative and follows through on problems Works well as part of a team Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, administrative work or a fast-paced office environment is helpful, but brokerage experience is not necessarily required for the right candidate. Compensation & Schedule Starting pay is $16-$18 per hour , depending on experience. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM . Employees become eligible for a monthly bonus after 90 days . Dispatchers also rotate responsibility for the after-hours phone approximately one week per month and receive additional compensation for that week . We're looking for someone who wants to learn the transportation business, become a reliable part of the team and grow with the position.
