The Dispatcher will utilize various transportation management systems and GPS technology to optimize routes and manage fleet operations. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule transportation of goods to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues. Analyze logistics data to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver schedules and shipment details. Monitor fleet management operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management. Strong understanding of GPS technology and its application in route optimization. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on logistics metrics. Experience with fleet management practices is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
