We're looking for a Dispatch Manager who can keep up with our pace, communicate clearly, and help our technicians run their day as efficiently as possible.THE ROLE
As Dispatch Manager, you're the command center of our operation. You'll coordinate the daily schedules of our technician teams across all three departments, making sure the right tech gets to the right job at the right time. You'll be the link between the office and the field — and your ability to stay calm, communicate well, and make fast decisions will have a direct impact on our customer experience and revenue performance.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Schedule and dispatch technicians across HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical departments Manage and optimize daily routes using our field service software (Housecall Pro) Monitor job status throughout the day and reassign or adjust as needed Communicate with technicians in the field to handle schedule changes, delays, or add-ons Coordinate with CSRs to manage inbound call volume and customer expectations Track technician availability, drive time, and job capacity to maximize booked revenue Escalate field issues and customer concerns to the appropriate department manager Maintain accurate records of daily dispatching activity and job completions Support technician performance by keeping them loaded with work and minimizing downtimeWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of dispatching or scheduling experience, preferably in home services or field service industries Experience with Housecall Pro or similar field service management software is a big plus Strong communication skills — you can talk to a frustrated tech and a frustrated customer in the same hour and handle both well Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Organized and detail-oriented — you don't let things fall through the cracks Team player who holds themselves accountable and follows proper communication channels Ability to think on their feet and make sound decisions under pressureJob Type:
