Category Transportation Description We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher with a strong background in the drayage industry . This role focuses on the managing of daily driver dispatch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing complex transportation operations to ensure the timely and efficient movement of import/export containers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to multitask, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. Duties and Responsibilities ( Include but are not limited to) Schedule appointments with marine terminals for container pickups Coordinate delivery appointments and follow-ups with customers Assign deliveries to drivers based on availability and operational priorities Monitor and track drivers in real time to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email to clients and internal operations teams Track equipment and update statuses within the company's custom portal Track and trace container shipments through terminal portals Perform general office duties and other tasks as assigned Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required.
