Assign loads to drivers based on load availability and driver location. Adjust to last minute changes and work with drivers to schedule pick-up or delivery appointments when necessary. Act as a communication liaison and answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the road. Provide support to drivers as needed and cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers. Track drivers electronically and maintain customers updated on delivery status of loads. Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution and follow all required safety policies and procedures. Manage existing client relationships; understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Applicant should be familiar with the geography of all 48 states.
