Maintain accurate Computer records of all deliveries, addresses, time of Miscellaneous duties as required Group and route deliveries of loads according to designed geographic areas.

Essential Functions:

Schedule routing of area/market delivery equipment to reduce delivery expense & increase efficiency Coordinate delivery times and total hours for load building, checking and staging Prepare delivery analyses to improve delivery efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve delivery and pick up problems before they become service issues Must be able to pass a background check... Monday-Thursday :

Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and Vehicle Dispatch Software. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems and phone call management tools to ensure smooth operations. Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve overall transportation planning. Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Enter data accurately into logistics databases like SyteLine, AS400, and Oracle TMS for shipment tracking and reporting. Handle customer service inquiries related to freight status, delivery schedules, and logistical issues with professionalism and clarity. Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, vehicle schedules, freight details, and internal communications to support efficient logistics operations. Skills Proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems), GPS technology, and transportation planning tools to enhance route optimization. Strong knowledge of road transportation operations, fleet management, and shipping & receiving procedures. Experience with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask using multi-line phone systems and data entry tools like SyteLine or AS400. Effective communication skills for phone etiquette, internal communication, and customer service interactions. Analysis skills to evaluate logistics data for continuous improvement in dispatching efficiency. Familiarity with DOT regulations governing freight transport safety standards. Ability to manage phone calls efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Knowledge of 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations and freight management strategies. Strong typing skills for quick data entry and documentation accuracy in logistics software.
