Job Description

Trucking company based out of DFW Airport is hiring immediately for: Logistics Dispatch and Safety Coordinator We are seeking a HIGHLY dedicated individual that is willing to work and follow company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our senior dispatch with managing drivers, ensuring timely deliveries, while maintaining DOT guidelines. Must be able to conduct safety audits with drivers one on one.
Duties:
  • Monitor CDL A Drivers from pick up to drop off
  • Manage a team of drivers, providing guidance and support
  • Monitor driver logs and performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Process documents, PODs and BOLs for movements.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
  • Utilize fleet management systems.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams
  • Conducting one on one safety meetings, driver orientation etc.
Qualifications and other requirements to be met: You MUST be available after hours and weekends as you will have a company cell phone 24/ 7, for emergency. You must have knowledge of computers, programs, email, TMS software The ability to be serious, managing drivers over the road is a serious task. Attendance in office is a must. Office hours 8am-5pm. The ability to learn, communicate and conduct one on one meetings with CDL A drivers. Criminal background will be conducted, and a pre-employment drug screening as we are bonded facility. Reliable transportation to and from work and live within the DFW metroplex. This position offers competitive pay and the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in the transportation industry.
