- $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher.
Responsibilities:
Develops a professional relationship with drivers that lead to exceptional safety, service, equipment care, fuel performance and retention. Remains in constant communication with drivers by offering freight, discussing weekly mileage goals, efficiently managing home time and HOS Tracks in progress freight to ensure on-time deliveries, advise customer service team of any delays Send rate confirmations, PODs and any other paperwork required to billing department to ensure timely payments Ensures payroll accuracy for fleet by assuring trip jackets, BOLs, receipts, and McLeod movements are correct Updating the change of trailers that drivers exchange in drop & hook locations. Making appropriate changes in McLeod Dispatching of driver fleet. This includes tracking, dispatching, and updating McLeod. Provides support to other driver fleets when needed Supports Operations team in areas of planning, coordinating relays, and recovery of loads Monitors deliveries and pickups for service failures and proactively alerts team of any loads in risk of failure. Proper service failure codes entered in McLeod Provides timely and meaningful in-person reviews with drivers to explain driver expectations and performance feedback. Update driver comments field as needed and evaluate fleet to retain top performing drivers Complies with the Quality Management System and meets Quality Objectives Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, or fleet management is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
