The Tow Truck Dispatcher coordinates daily towing operations by receiving service calls, assigning jobs to drivers, and ensuring timely, professional customer service. This role requires a bilingual English/Spanish communicator with a strong, confident personality capable of handling difficult or highstress situations while maintaining professionalism. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming service calls and gather accurate information on location, vehicle type, and service needs. Dispatch tow truck drivers based on availability, proximity, and job priority. Communicate clearly with drivers regarding job details, route changes, and updates. Manage challenging situations with calm, assertive communication and problemsolving. Provide bilingual support to customers and partners as needed. Monitor driver locations and job status using dispatch or GPS software. Maintain detailed logs of calls, dispatch times, service completion, and customer interactions. Coordinate with law enforcement, insurance companies, and roadside assistance partners. Handle customer inquiries, provide ETA updates, and resolve issues professionally. Support administrative tasks such as data entry, ticket processing, and documentation. Qualifications Experience in dispatching, towing, transportation, or customer service preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain confident and composed during difficult situations. Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment. Basic computer skills; familiarity with dispatch or GPS tracking systems is a plus. Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns helpful. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Occasional halfday on Saturday as needed
