Job Description
We are looking for a dependable Dispatcher to support daily service coordination for a busy plumbing operation in Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who can balance customer communication, technician scheduling, and changing priorities in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate brings strong dispatching experience, sound judgment, and a customer-focused approach to keeping service activities organized and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound service calls and collect complete details about customer concerns, locations, and scheduling needs.
- Assign work orders to field technicians based on urgency, availability, and route efficiency.
- Manage and adjust daily schedules to maintain timely response and effective coverage throughout the workday.
- Track active jobs, communicate status updates, and keep both customers and technicians informed of changes or delays.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and make prompt decisions when new priorities arise.
- Maintain accurate service records, call notes, and dispatch documentation in company systems.
- Deliver courteous, detail-oriented support during every customer interaction to promote a positive service experience.
- Coordinate logistics between office staff and field teams to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
