Dispatcher — Logistics / Trucking A growing logistics company in The Woodlands is seeking a Dispatcher for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will coordinate truck movement, driver communication, load updates, route changes, and customer/carrier communication to help ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a good fit for someone with prior dispatch, freight coordination, trucking, logistics, carrier support, or transportation operations experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and communicates well with drivers, customers, shippers, receivers, and internal teams. Responsibilities Dispatch drivers and coordinate truck movement for customer shipments Communicate with drivers, shippers, receivers, carriers, and internal teams Provide load details, delivery instructions, schedule updates, and status updates Monitor driver progress and shipment activity using dispatch/TMS/tracking tools Adjust plans due to weather, traffic, customer changes, delays, or operational issues Troubleshoot delivery problems and communicate updates professionally Maintain accurate dispatch notes, load records, delivery documentation, and logs Support customer service and help keep freight operations organized from start to finish Requirements 3+ years of dispatch, logistics, trucking, freight coordination, or transportation operations experience preferred Strong communication skills by phone and email Ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment Strong organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with drivers, carriers, customers, shippers, and receivers Experience with dispatch software, TMS, load boards, tracking tools, or logistics systems preferred Professional, reliable, team-oriented personality Comfortable working onsite in
