Transportation Supervisor

Job Description

FirstFleet is a national trucking company in need of a Transportation Supervisor for our Richmond, VA facility. Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm and there will need to reply to some emails and calls outside of those hours. CDL Requited. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Tracking and scheduling of Drivers & Freight Customer communications Email Communication Telephone Communication Monitoring Hours of Service Monitoring inbound paperwork Experience with TMW preferred but not required Job Requirements CDL- Class A required. Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows) TMW system knowledge preferred, but not required Excellent communication skills Knowledge of DOT Regulations Willing to field phone calls and solve issues as needed after scheduled hours. Willing to cover short loads and perform Yard Jockey duties if someone calls out.
Salary:
$55,000 per year with opportunity to increase income by running short loads for our Customer's. Full benefit package available including medical, dental, vision, hearing, 401(k), short- and long-term disability, and life insurance. Paid vacations after 1 year of employment. Pre-employment drug screen required
