As a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Dispatch Desk in Sterling, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor access control and alarm activity, document incidents, and support response efforts. You will help maintain awareness across the property while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and onsite personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document service requests, and coordinate the response of onsite personnel to routine incidents, alarms, and critical situations. Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, including details of calls received, actions taken, personnel dispatched, and follow-up notifications. Communicate professionally with building management, emergency responders, and onsite teams while responding to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the property perimeter, as required by site procedures, and report security-related concerns.Minimum Requirements:
Possess supervisory experience. Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
