Ideally, this candidate is able to work the night shift between the hours of 6p-6a (shifts can/will vary). The schedule for this position is to be determined, but it'll likely be 3 days a week, 12 hour shifts. This candidate will be dedicated to monitoring the cameras at many apartment complexes, parking lots, and small businesses that we provide video monitoring service for, and reporting any incidents to the authorities/on-site contacts. The systems that we oversee have a number of deterrence features (two-way communication, red and blue LEDs, loud speakers) - this candidate will be responsible for operating these systems. This candidate will work out of our central monitoring station in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing the "command center" of CCTV feeds and maintain required log books Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner Extracts video clips and includes them in any applicable incident reports Operates and monitors the security CCTV systems for multiple monitored sites The systems that we oversee have two-way communication functionality; you will be responsible for using this system to communicate with trespassers, on-site contacts, the authorities, etc. in the event of an incident Keeps unwanted visitors out of monitored building(s) and off of monitored grounds Implements notification process in emergency situations, assists in the coordination of emergency situations Dispatches on-site security or the police as needed for incident prevention and response Ensures the safety of our clients and their property via remote monitoring Reports any concerns to appropriate entity Establishes and maintains cooperative professional relationships Remains free of any alcohol or nonprescription controlled substance and abuse of any prescribed controlled substance within the workplace throughout employment Exhibits professional behavior, emotional stability, and sound judgment Maintains confidentiality and respect for confidential information at all times Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Be organized with strong attention to detail Flexible working schedule to include night and weekends Pass pre-employment drug testing Must be willing to work flexible schedule weekend, holidays, or nights Preferred 2 years of dispatch, military, security, law enforcement, corrections, fire, EMS, customer service or relevant college degree in the field Genuine desire and interest in the security industry Ability to sit or stand 100% of shift Reliable transportation Great communication/writing skills Must be able to communicate effectively in the event of an emergency Calm, collected in the face of adversity Ability to obtain a Washington State Security License 18 years of age and older Women, Minorities and Veterans are encouraged to apply!
