Dispatcher Salary Range:
$25 - $30 /hrly

Georgetown Operations Center Schedule:
Standard operating hours are 3:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Shift times vary. About the Position The Dispatcher is responsible for the dispatching and coordination of company trucks, trailers and drivers to assigned stores and attended donation stations. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. Direct drivers and assign required tasks to effectively meet schedules and the needs of the company. Maintain accurate station, store, and trailer status reports. Effectively communicate with store, warehouse, outlet, ADS, dock and management personnel. Maintain contact with ADS sites and track status (trailer footage) at each site. Coordinate special donations pick- ups, missed donations and special requests. Process accident reports, schedules and daily reports. Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information. Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments. Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent but not required Ability to read, write and speak English. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Ability to properly operate in-cab computer system for vehicle tracking and electronic logs. Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems. Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service.
Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:
Current Washington State driver's license with good driving record Must have a valid MVR (motor vehicle registration)
Computer/Technology Skills:
Ability to use a mobile phone Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required sit or stand for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, required to lift and carry items weighing up to 30-40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Maintain reliable attendance.
