Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily schedules for service technicians, assigning work orders, and ensuring timely response to customer needs. This full-time, on-site role in Burien, WA includes monitoring job progress, updating customers on appointment status, and optimizing routes to maximize efficiency. The dispatcher will handle incoming calls, create and update service tickets, verify job details, and communicate clearly with both customers and field staff. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in the dispatch system, supporting emergency and priority requests, and collaborating with management to adjust staffing and scheduling as needed. Qualifications Experience in dispatching, scheduling, or coordinating field service teams, ideally within HVAC or related trades. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle phone calls and service requests in a professional manner. Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple tasks, priorities, and technician schedules. Comfort with computers and dispatch or CRM software; ability to learn new systems and maintain accurate data entry. Basic understanding of residential HVAC services (repair, maintenance, retrofit) or willingness to learn industry terminology. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address scheduling conflicts and urgent service needs effectively. Ability to work on-site in Burien, WA, collaborate with office and field staff, and maintain a reliable work schedule. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in an office, call center, or trade service environment is preferred.
