Job Description

Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and process Freight Bills Data entry Schedule Drivers Coordinate load Schedulel Appointments Data entry Audit Driver routing and trips Communicate with Maintenance shop and other terminals to maximise freight movement Coordinate load Answer calls support drivers Available to be on call when needed (on weekend monthly)
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to accurately read maps and calculate distances and related times Experience with Microsoft Office Able to learn multiple systems for monitoring and data entry as well as navigate web based programs Willing to work flexible hours Desirable characteristics: Detail oriented A team player Willing to learn new things Skagit Transportation is an equal opportunity employer
