ROTO-ROOTER
in Yakima, WA is seeking a motivated Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to join our front-line office team. This role combines dispatching, customer service, and warm outbound follow-up with existing customers to help schedule service and maintain strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a confident phone presence, excellent listening skills, and the ability to communicate with empathy and patience. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve while supporting both customers and technicians. The customer outreach aspect focuses on following up with customers who already know us, helping them move forward with service, and assisting with light marketing outreach such as service reminders, mailers, inactive accounts, and customer follow-up campaigns. Key Responsibilities Provide world-class customer service through professional call handling, scheduling, and follow-up. Dispatch and communicate with service technicians to maximize productivity and ensure an excellent customer experience. Address customer questions or scheduling objections by clearly explaining the benefits of

services. Conduct warm outbound follow-up with existing customers, including: Pending or unapproved estimates Recently completed services Canceled or postponed jobs Preventive and maintenance services Assist with customer retention and outreach efforts, including follow-up calls, service reminders, and light marketing support. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction after service.
Qualifications:
Strong phone presence and communication skills Customer-first mindset with empathy and professionalism Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Above-average computer skills and solid typing ability Flexible availability, including weekends Dispatch experience, knowledge of the Yakima area, and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
