Job Description

Answering point for emergency, non emergency and administrative calls to the police department. Responsible for dispatching to various incidents throughout the city. Operates radio, TIMS CAD/RMS system to facilitate up-to-date and timely records. High school diploma; No felony convictions; Good verbal and written communication skills; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Ability to keyboard/type words per minute - 25; Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position
