Hopkinsville, KY 42240 Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They're expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Overview The Project SSHE Manager's role is to ensure that client's Advance Graphite Venture 1 (AGV1) project obtains the services and support needed to achieve goals related to safety, security, health, and environmental/regulatory. This position leads efforts in development and implementation of OIMS Systems and programs specific to the AGV1. Responsibilities Leads the AGV1 Project team within the areas of Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS), safety, security, health, environment, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness and response, and incident management. Responsible for coordination of strategic OIMS design and implementation; serve as OIMS system owner for Personnel Safety, Security Management, Environment Management, Compliance with Laws and Regulations, Occupational Health, Incident Management, and Emergency Preparedness and Response. Finalize and implement AGV1's SSHE Plan, including supporting systems/processes/tools used on client's major capital projects. Lead functional interface management with
EMAGS SSHE
including Global Security Department (GSD) and Medical and Occupational Health (MOH), as well as interface management with company's Global Projects Company SSHE and client's Corporate SSHE. Ensure Contractors and subs are fully onboarded, ensuring they understand both site and project expectations. Responsible for leading and testing the effectiveness of the SSHE program (i.e. PSMS V&V, worker competency, Emergency Response, High Risk Activity monitoring, etc.) Develop and coordinate AGV1 Project SSHE program management systems/processes/tools including internal and external SSHE performance reporting. Data integrity of client's Corporate SSHE stewardship reporting for AGV1 Project. Additional Responsibilities Member of AGV1 Project Leadership Team. Provide technical SSHE support to AGV1 Project management team. Lead AGV1 Project SSHE staff. Steward AGV1 Project SSHE budget, schedule, and workgroup deliverables. Develop and implement OIMS Leadership Plans for AGV1 Project. Develop and monitor implementation of AGV1 Project SSHE plans while identifying application opportunities for lessons learned and best practices sharing. Develop and implement AGV1 Project Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans. Manage SSHE risks/opportunities/issues. Champion Project wide improvement initiatives Provide technical SSHE support for AGV1 Project Risk Assessments. Lead AGV1 Project Regulatory Compliance and Environmental and Socioeconomic Management Plans. Support AGV1 Project contractors with incident investigation, documentation, reporting, and follow-up. Develop and steward SSHE Leading and Trailing Performance Indicators. Influence Contractors' SSHE performance and system upgrade recommendations. Mentor early to mid-career SHE professionals. Qualifications Bachelor of Science and prior company experience preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SSHE. Broad technical and SSHE skills with working knowledge of major capital projects. Proven hands-on SSHE leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
