APPLICATION Share this job Description County of Blair is seeking an individual to oversee operations of the Emergency Management Department.

This position:

Directs the operations, organization, and preparedness of the County Emergency Management Agency. Ensures that said Agency effectively discharges all required duties and responsibilities during both peacetime and in periods of disaster. Maintains Agency compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines. Requirements • Six years of experience in a public safety or emergency management environment, with at least one year of experience in a supervisory role, of which a maximum of four years of experience may be substituted with equivalent education. • Must have, or complete within three years of hire, both basic and advanced emergency management certifications from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. Starting salary $63,251.56 per year.
