Student - Emergency Management Intern

Paid internship for the Emergency Management and Safety Department. Work on projects and assignments related to campus emergency management. Responsible for the Building Marshal/Floor Captain Program on campus. Preparing groups of people in each building to respond to emergencies. Assist with training students, staff, and faculty on EM topics. Assist with the design of exercises held on campus. Assist in writing incident-specific plans such as earthquake, fire, severe storm, etc. Must be a current UVU student Ability to interact well with people. Have computer skills and the ability to use relevant software such as Microsoft Word and others. Able to work approximately 16-20 hours per week. Work during the week, during the day, some flexibility with the class schedule.
