Full Job Description Position Summary:
The CPMO is unique within the NGB Staff, because it is charged with planning and policy development at the National level, while functioning at the Strategic, Operational and Tactical levels. Accordingly, Contractors are designated as Emergency Mission Essential Personnel and their uninterrupted support to the CPMO must be agile and able to cross multiple disciplines. CPMO projects range from single event tasks and planning to the development of crisis and continuity recommendations presented through the Chief of the National Guard Bureau (CNGB) to the National Security Council. All members of the CPMO require TS clearances with SCI access, are subject to involuntary recall to support crisis and continuity of operations and are members of Emergency Relocation Group. Contractors supporting the CPMO are required to have a Master Continuity Professional Certificate through Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and be certified as a Project Management Professional. Upon assignment, the Contractor shall obtain their Certified Emergency Manager and Certified Business Continuity Practitioner certifications. The Contractor shall assist the Government Lead with drafting documents and shall ensure policy adherence and program compliance. The Contractor shall assist in facilitating and arranging FEMA training on Continuity of Operations, Emergency Management, to NGB and its subcommands.
Skills and Qualification Required:
US Citizenship Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelor's or higher Degree in public administration, business, social science, or a related field Master Continuity Professional Certificate through Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Project Management Professional (PMP)
Skills and Qualifications Preferred:
Certified Emergency Manager Certified Business Continuity Practitioner National Guard Bureau experience
