Job Description

Job Overview The Cigarette Store LLC dba Smoker Friendly has 335 retail stores in 13 states. Smoker Friendly is seeking a Facilities Manager for the Central Region. The Central Region Facilities Manager will have responsibilities for facility maintenance, repairs, remodels, and new construction for Smoker Friendly Stores in Central Region. The position is based out of Forrest City, Arkansas. List of Essential Duties Manage and oversee facility maintenance, repairs and new construction. Maintain good communication with Management, Staff and Vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization as it relates to facilities. Collaborate with company area managers, supervisors and store managers Coordinate site activities assuring that all disciplines directly involved in tasks/projects are in phase with the project goals and objectives Oversee and provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for facility maintenance repairs and construction. Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources Assure quality standards are being met Liaise between engineers, architects, and others working on the project Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring maintenance issues Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other specialists, and hire contractors and service providers, and coordinate their schedules Attend coordination and progress meetings; make regular trips to sites during construction including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout Maintain and update preconstruction documents, and monitor contract obligations with a goal of building relationships with reliable contractors and vendors Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions Job Requirements Experience in retail store operations and facility maintenance. Ability to supervisor multiple tasks, contractors and vendors. Ability to solicit, analyze, negotiate, and contract for services Strong budget development and oversight skills Strong scheduling skills Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities Available to work anytime and available by phone at all times. Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Flexible to travel We reserve the right to change or revise duties and responsibilities as the need arises.
