$73,049 to $78,000 dependent upon qualifications plus a comprehensive benefits package to include membership in the Arizona State Retirement System.PLEASE NOTE

: (Illustrative Only) Coordinates the financial management of programs, grants, and contracts; compiles and analyzes financial information; prepares financial projections and coordinates financial benchmarking; prepares, administers, and monitors the department's annual budgets and capital improvement programs; prepares monthly internal financial reports and quarterly budget variance reports; prepares and/or approves budgetary transfers and journal entry requests; assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal control policies and procedures; acts as liaison to the Cochise County Finance Department relating to GASB 34 infrastructure reporting; may supervise and train staff as assigned.A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education and three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in budget/accounting, two (2) years of which was in budgetary control and responsibility, OR, an equivalent experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities of this classification; must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License and the ability to be covered by county insurance. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered.
