Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field Valid and current Special Education teaching certification Previous experience working with students who have a range of disabilities Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation Strong communication skills with both students and multidisciplinary staff Flexible, patient, and resourceful with creative problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs Assess academic and developmental progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain accurate and timely records for IEP meetings and regulatory compliance Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Create an inclusive, safe, and encouraging classroom environment Participate actively in school meetings, trainings, and professional development
