Evening Facility Associate Responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations under the direction of the Operations Manager. Primary responsibilities include janitorial cleaning of buildings and ground areas, light fabrication, carpentry, painting, light plumbing, and grounds maintenance . Assemble and install fixtures and furnishings. Secure the facility and maintain a safe environment free of hazards. Assisted the maintenance specialist and other facility team members with building improvement, expansion projects, and vehicle maintenance. Sets up and takes down event structures and equipment. Assist the Food & Beverage, Event, and Marketplace Manager with miscellaneous projects when required.

Responsibilities:

Follows a nightly and weekly checklist Performs scheduled cleaning of the facility, and as needed Cleans vehicles Secure the building and property by locking up, checking all doors, and setting alarm codes. Lock the gates and building in the evening Responsible for turning on/off fire features and the heater Manages all propane cells, gasoline, and diesel supply Turns on/off misters Drives the company pickup truck for work assignments or drives to town to obtain needed supplies from designated vendors. Keeps non-cultivated areas in a neat and orderly fashion, including the parking lot Checks and resolves safety issues on the property, such as trip hazards and broken furniture Maintains tools, goods, and assets, ensuring they are put away when not in use Make suggestions for the continuous improvement of facilities and farm management. Assembles furniture and fixtures Light plumbing and electrical Light carpentry and painting Participates in projects under the direction of the Operations manager Assists in pest and rodent control activities for the property and coordinates the gopher control program on the farm. Generally responsible for setting up and tearing down all equipment for tours and events, working closely with the Events manager.

Shift days/hours:

Sunday - Saturday 3 pm -11 pm; (hours and shifts may vary depending on departmental needs)

Qualifications:

Be 21 years of age. Possess an up-to-date food handler permit or card for the county where he/she is employed. Have outstanding customer skills and an outgoing friendly personality. Be able to cope with the stress of seasonal sales activity and hours. Communicate with and understand customers' and staff's predominant languages(s). Mechanical and electrical aptitude Possess excellent interpersonal skills. Work standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift to 50 pounds.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
