Facilities Technician - LEGOLAND Discovery Center Arizona ???

What You'll Do:

+ Work alongside an experienced Facilities team to support the daily operation of

LEGOLAND

Discovery Center Arizona.

+ Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces, including maintenance shops, storage areas, and back-of-house locations.

+ Perform preventive maintenance (PPMs) on rides, attractions, facility systems, and equipment to help ensure a safe and reliable guest experience.

+ Respond to maintenance requests and emergent issues throughout the day, troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.

+ Support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building systems, including HVAC , electrical, plumbing, lighting, and attraction equipment.

+ Assist with the troubleshooting and maintenance of attraction technology, audio-visual equipment, exhibits, and guest-facing systems.

+ Complete general facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, wall repairs, furniture assembly, door repairs, and light fixture maintenance.

+ Install and replace facility components including light bulbs, projector lamps, data cables, computer outlets, and related equipment.

+ Monitor building systems and identify, address, or report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and fire hazards.

+ Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in accordance with company policies and OSHA safety standards.

+ Support exhibit installations, special projects, shipping and receiving, and other operational needs as assigned. Qualifications & Experience ??

+ Mechanical aptitude and an interest in learning maintenance and facilities systems.

+ Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

+ Sense of urgency and ability to respond quickly to operational needs.

+ Understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA standards.

+ Strong organizational skills and pride in maintaining clean and efficient work areas.
