Facilities Supervisor Position Summary The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all company facilities, grounds, and building systems are clean, safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. This hands-on leader plans and performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across all laundromat locations. The primary focus of this position is the maintenance of everything except the repair of washers and dryers . The Facilities Supervisor may occasionally assist the Senior Machine Technician with minor washer and dryer repairs or annual preventive maintenance while working together on-site, but the Senior Machine Technician remains responsible for diagnosing and repairing laundry equipment. The Facilities Supervisor establishes systems, schedules, and standards so maintenance is completed correctly, consistently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Building & Facility Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to all building systems and tenant-maintained exterior areas.
- Maintain walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, lighting, plumbing fixtures, cabinetry, and other building components.
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures and hardware as needed.
- Handle painting, patching, caulking, pressure washing, and other general maintenance.
- Maintain parking lots, sidewalks, landscaping, signage, fencing, trash enclosures, and exterior lighting where tenant responsibilities apply.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs when necessary. Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all facilities.
- Create systems that keep recurring maintenance timely and documented.
- Identify and address maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- Keep organized records of completed work and upcoming maintenance needs. Equipment Support
- Maintain facility equipment other than washers and dryers, including carts, folding tables, seating, shelving, water heaters, restroom fixtures, HVAC filters, doors, locks, and related assets.
- Assist the Senior Machine Technician with annual washer and dryer preventive maintenance when requested.
- Occasionally assist with minor washer and dryer repairs while working alongside the Senior Machine Technician.
- Recognize that the Senior Machine Technician is responsible for washer and dryer diagnosis and repair. Project Management
- Complete remodels and facility improvement projects.
- Coordinate project materials, tools, and vendors.
- Recommend improvements that enhance reliability, appearance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Safety & Compliance
- Maintain safe conditions throughout all facilities.
- Identify and correct safety hazards promptly.
- Ensure maintenance work meets company standards and applicable regulations.
- Assist with emergency repairs as needed. Inventory & Organization
- Track maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
- Recommend inventory levels to minimize downtime while controlling costs. Qualifications
- Three or more years of commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong general carpentry, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, painting, drywall repair, and facility maintenance skills.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize work independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Desired Characteristics

Pay:
