Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Residential Care Facility Caregiver / HOUSE Manager, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to residents with diverse needs. This dynamic position combines hands-on caregiving with household management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and well-organized environment. You will support residents with daily activities, oversee facility operations, and foster a warm community atmosphere that promotes dignity and independence for all individuals. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive living experience for residents and their families. Bilingual Preferred Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies, to promote safety and comfort Manage household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Implement behavior management techniques tailored to individual resident needs and developmental disabilities Operate standard passenger cars safely for resident outings or errands in accordance with traffic laws and safety standards Conduct manual handling procedures for heavy lifting or transferring residents safely using proper techniques Communicate effectively with residents' families, healthcare providers, and team members to coordinate care plans Ensure compliance with health regulations by maintaining accurate documentation of resident care activities and incident reports Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care settings with a focus on geriatrics or memory care - Bilingual Preferred Strong knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia care techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in medication management or behavioral support are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe patient lifting practices during transfers or manual handling tasks Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger vehicles for community outings or errands Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a residential care environment Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents!
