Job Description
ResponsibilitiesThink critically to respond and react quickly to ever changing situations on propertyAble to problem solve to resolve issues safely and efficientlyDeliver clear expectations to the team in all operational areasProfessional in all internal and external communicationsHelp and support guest and team member issues quickly and efficientlyInterview and collaborate with GM on hiring of Facilities team membersParticipate in delivery of performance reviews for team membersDeliver corrective actions to team membersPrioritize goals and delegate tasks on a regular basis for facilities staff while working in conjunction with the camp General ManagerAble to run the camp and work independently with minimal oversight in the event the GM or AGM are unavailableFind ways to streamline processes to maximize efficiency and resource useEstablish and maintain relationships with local businesses and communitiesBe growth orientedEvaluate, develop, and report on NPS and eNPS action plansMaintain the departmental budget by managing Facilities purchases and updating checkbook of operating expenses to match business needs and to meet monthly and yearly financial goalsOversee and perform routine and preventative maintenance for all aspects of the property including infrastructure elements, tents, and maintenance equipmentPerform key tasks in planning of capital purchases and projects throughout the yearCreate synergy across property departments through strong leadershipMeet with team members to support their growth and developmentCreate positive work environment that is guest-focusedEnsure that all camp-level SOPs and expectations are implemented, updated, and maintainedCollaborate with other members of camp management and the corporate teamAssist with maintenance needs for staff housing as neededPrioritize tasks effectivelyParticipate in camp level and company-wide meetingsSubmit high quality work products in a timely mannerPromote company sustainability initiativesOther duties as assigned Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience as maintenance technician minimum of 2 years with at least 1 year of supervisory experienceExperience in infrastructure systems including plumbing, septic, gas, electrical, generators, landscaping, road maintenance, and water/well maintenanceProvide input and assist GM in annual build of maintenance department budgetCompetently perform duties in absence of GM and AGMDemonstrated commitment to delivering high quality customer serviceGoal-oriented, results-driven, strong interpersonal and communication skillsCommunicate in a clear and professional wayInteract with a friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitudeDemonstrate sound judgement, follow direction, and take decisive appropriate actionLearn, embrace, and train team on company policies, practices, and proceduresStrong organizational skills to execute and prioritize multiple tasksAbility to work independently and meet deadlines on assigned projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteParticipate in educational and training opportunitiesAdditional InformationTravel requiredThis position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, when applicable.
This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs independently.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind.
