Church Administrator & Facilities Coordinator Location:
Healdsburg, CA Position Type:
Part-Time (15-20 hours/week)
Pay:
$27-33 /hour depending on experience
Benefits:
Paid sick leave.
  • Medical, paid vacation, and retirement benefits available for 20 hour/week commitment (20 hours consider ed full-time).
About the
Role:
We are seeking a warm, highly-organized Church Administrator & Facilities Coordinator to serve as the operational nerve center for our congregation. In this role you are a welcoming point of contact, ensuring that everyone from outside groups to congregation members have the information they need for their engagement with the church and its ministries. You also ensure our campus is maintained as a welcoming and organized place for ministry. If you have a heart for connecting with people and the organizational skills to keep a busy church office running smoothly, we would love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the
Communication Hub:
Answer phones, reply to voicemail, manage email correspondence, send out meeting minutes and agendas, schedule worship participants, schedule pastoral care visits etc.
Coordinate Our Church Home:
Act as Facilities Coordinator. You will interface with outside groups looking to use our space, coordinate with vendors (landscapers, cleaners, etc.), ensure there no faculties use conflicts in the church's calendar, and ensure our building remains a beautiful, organized and maintained place for ministry.
Support Worship & Ministry:
Help our weekly services come to life by assembling printed bulletins, preparing slides for Sunday worship, and organizing volunteer and A/V schedules.
Keep Us Connected:
Curate our weekly eNewsletter and mailings, update our website, social channels and church calendar.
Manage Office Operations:
Handle the essential behind-the-scenes work, including processing bi-monthly payroll, paying bills, recording weekly giving, and maintaining accurate church records using our management software.

You are comfortable using and learning technology (like Google Workspace, Mailchimp, church databases, Canva, and AI engines) as tools to keep our community organized and informed.
Collaborative:
You enjoy working alongside the pastor, volunteers, and community members to foster a supportive and smoothly operating church environment.
Mission-Aligned:
You do not need to be a regular churchgoer to thrive in this role, but you should be comfortable working in a church environment and support our mission of "Seeking to live like Jesus so others can experience God's love."
