This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader passionate about senior care and community well-being. As an integral part of our management team, you will support the overall operations, ensure compliance with state regulations, and foster a warm, safe environment for residents. Your expertise in assisted living, memory care, and long-term care will drive excellence in resident services and staff supervision. This paid position is ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact while advancing their management career in senior and home care settings. Responsibilities Assist the Facility Administrator in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments. Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care. Supervise staff members, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards for assisted living and long-term care facilities. Manage resident relations by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction. Oversee medication administration procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices. Assist with budgeting, resource allocation, and financial management to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate with social workers, healthcare professionals, and families to support residents' physical and emotional well-being. Lead efforts in home & community care initiatives to enhance residents' quality of life outside the facility. Support emergency response planning and ensure staff are trained in dementia care techniques. Qualifications Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or retirement communities with a strong understanding of senior care operations. Previous supervisory or management experience within long-term care or group home settings. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's disease, memory care strategies, and resident's (personalized resident information). Familiarity with care plan development, medication administration protocols, and regulatory compliance standards. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage diverse staff members effectively. Excellent organizational skills with experience in budgeting, financial acumen, and operational management. Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or home & community care experience is highly desirable.
