Job Summary Eggleston Residential Treatment is looking for a part-time Child Care Counselor/Facility Manager for our Pomona location.

Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-10:00 PM; weekends may be required based on needs.

$20.00-$23.00 per hour The child care counselor shall serve in the capacity of providing security and supervision to youth assigned to his or her unit.
Duties:
Act as facility manager as requested by Title 22. Make constant thirty (30)-minute room checks. Make constant hourly grounds security checks. Prepare all necessary paperwork for the following day activities. (i.e. Population count sheets, room assignments, incentive sheets for merit ladder, and all other related paperwork) Respond to all noise or unusual incidents. Awaken youth for their daily activities and school. Supervise chores. Complete annual staff trainings, depending on your weekly work hours scheduled. Work weekends as required. Enforce staff disciplinary procedures. Enforce all medication procedures. Enforce home-pass and visitation procedures. Enforce all rules and policies of the program. Supervise the serving of meals and snacks. Case load charting and provide daily basic needs. Orientate new youth to the rules, regulations, and policies of the program. Provide visual supervision of youth requiring special one-on-one supervision. Inform all staff of upcoming trainings and work schedule. Ensure the facility is clean and ready for inspection at all times and also inspect it for any damages. Meet with Social Workers and/or Probation officers. Attend MDT, TDM, and/or RPM as required. Enforce Title 22 regulations. In the absence of the child care supervisor the child care counselor will act as supervising counselor to coordinate the daily program. Position Requirements — Must meet one of the following: High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of related direct child care experience , providing counseling and supervision to youth with emotional and behavioral problems; OR 60 college credits or an A.A. degree and 4 years of child care counselor experience working with at-risk minors; OR BA or BS degree in Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field as stated in Title 22.
Additional Requirements:
