The Facilities Management team is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations while minimizing operational and lifecycle costs. This includes supporting facility infrastructure, production environments, building systems, equipment, and technology used to monitor and manage facility operations and services. The Facilities Operations Specialist will support day-to-day facilities operations while working closely with an experienced team in an onsite environment. This position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to learn established processes, systems, and procedures through direct collaboration and job shadowing.

This role requires significant onboarding and training commitment. The selected candidate must be comfortable working onsite, learning through hands-on experience, and collaborating closely with team members throughout the training period. Facilities Operations Specialist Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and management of facilities, buildings, equipment, and related systems. Assist with facilities planning, modifications, maintenance activities, and operational improvements. Support the coordination of facility layouts, space allocation, communication services, and building changes. Assist with planning and coordinating facility-related projects, including equipment, labor, materials, scheduling, and cost considerations, as applicable. Follow established facilities procedures, policies, safety standards, and quality requirements. Work closely with experienced team members to learn facility systems, operational processes, and maintenance procedures. Participate in hands-on training, job shadowing, and onboarding activities to develop the knowledge and skills required for the role. Communicate effectively with internal teams to exchange information, coordinate activities, and support facility operations. Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient onsite working environment. Perform additional facilities support duties as assigned. Facilities Operations Specialist Qualifications Completion of vocational training or equivalent practical experience. Ability to learn new processes, systems, and procedures quickly. Willingness to participate in extensive onboarding, training, and job shadowing. Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to follow established procedures and work within defined guidelines. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Ability to develop the skills necessary to work independently following the training period.
