$62,000-$75,000 per year . Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated admissions and census development success. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Admissions Director to join our team. This position plays a vital role in driving census growth, building referral relationships, coordinating admissions, and ensuring a seamless transition for residents and their families. We are looking for a healthcare professional who is passionate about customer service, community outreach, and delivering exceptional experiences for residents, families, and referral partners. As a member of our leadership team, you will work closely with clinical and operational leaders to support facility growth and outstanding resident outcomes. This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other referral sources. Coordinate the admission process from referral through admission. Evaluate referrals and collaborate with clinical team members to ensure appropriate admissions. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families. Maintain frequent communication with referral partners and community stakeholders. Develop and implement strategies to achieve and maintain census goals. Track admission, referral, and conversion metrics and provide regular reporting to facility leadership. Serve as a positive ambassador for the facility within the community. Participate in networking events, healthcare meetings, and community outreach activities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in healthcare admissions, business development, marketing, census development, or related healthcare field preferred. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, or Healthcare Sales experience strongly preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proven ability to establish and maintain referral partnerships. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Experience with healthcare regulations, managed care, Medicare, and insurance authorization processes preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
