Job Description

Facilities Project Coordinator Location:

On-Site | East Hartford /

Middletown, CT Type:

Contract-to-Hire Overview We are looking for a Facilities Project Coordinator to support commercial construction, renovation, and facilities projects within a large campus environment. This person will help coordinate office buildouts, renovations, furniture moves, workspace changes, and facility improvement projects. The role will work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams while managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and project logistics. Responsibilities

+ Coordinate small to mid-sized construction, renovation, and facilities projects

+ Manage project schedules, budgets, work plans, and documentation

+ Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams

+ Support site readiness and project logistics

+ Track project costs, change orders, scope updates, and customer requests

+ Review contractor and vendor invoices

+ Assist with bid packages and procurement of materials and services

+ Help facilitate pre-construction meetings

+ Coordinate furniture installations, office moves, and workspace reconfigurations

+ Create and update move plans and facility drawings using AutoCAD

+ Provide project updates and maintain organized project records Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, facilities, project coordination, or a related role

+ Experience with commercial construction, office renovations, tenant improvements, or facility projects

+ Ability to manage several projects and priorities at the same time

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Experience working with project budgets, schedules, and documentation

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office

+ AutoCAD experience is required

+ Experience coordinating contractors and vendors Nice to Have

+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field

+ Experience working in a corporate campus or facilities environment

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
