Job Description

RSD17 is seeking an outstanding Director to join our district team. We're looking for a leader who is passionate about creating safe, well-maintained, and efficiently run learning environments where every student and staff member can thrive. The successful candidate brings strong operational and strategic leadership, high expectations for facilities, safety, security, and transportation performance, and a genuine commitment to supporting the district's educational mission every day. This position will oversee facilities, grounds, maintenance, custodial staff, and capital planning; lead districtwide safety and security programming, including emergency preparedness and physical security systems; and manage the district's contracted student transportation program.
