Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Under direct supervision, responsible for Sheriff's office buildings and grounds. Incumbents must work under a Tech II at an apprentice level to gain skills in, but not limited to, HVAC, Plumbing, electrical, welding, carpentry, landscaping, automated controls and basic audio visual networks to build, maintain, repair, and construct within CCSO facilities to fulfill work requests. This position will be on standby and may respond to incidents and emergencies, and serves as "Essential Personnel" during major storms and hurricanes. This is an entry level position and training will be provided. Once all other qualifications are met and one year as a Tech I has passed Incumbents will be eligible for a transfer to Tech II.
