Director of Facilities Services Department:
Facilities Services Position Summary:
This position oversees the functions of the Facilities Services department including maintenance, housekeeping and grounds. The Director of Facilities Services will supervise all department staff; ensure proper maintenance of all buildings and grounds; and provide an aesthetically pleasing, clean and functional learning environment in support of the strategic mission and goals of the university.
Responsibilities:
Provide vision and strategic direction for the Facilities Services department. Supervise and direct facilities services staff and work-study students; and mentor, coach and evaluate staff performance. Model and encourage an environment of excellent customer service among all facilities personnel. Develop and implement methods to monitor and track work orders and service requests. Manage and prioritize annual budgets for all functional areas of the department. Work closely with architects, engineers, design professionals and university leadership on any new building construction or renovation. Participate in the development of long-range campus master plans. Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Supportive of Warner's mission, vision and core values, commitment to a Christian lifestyle, and demonstration of character in keeping with biblical models. A minimum of five years of experience in facilities management. Possess in-depth technical knowledge/expertise of engineering, construction, maintenance, facility and general management. Have knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local legislative and regulatory requirements including building codes, OSHA regulations and safety requirements. High level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential situations and documentation . Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Experience working in an education environment (preferably higher education).

Working Relationships:
The Director of Facilities Services is a member of the Facilities Services Department and reports to the Assistant Vice President for Technology and Facilities.
Work Schedule:
