A Facilities Manager manages the facilities of a company or organization, including buildings and grounds, equipment, supplies and staff. Oversees maintenance and security of facilities; oversees renovation projects and monitors work to improve energy efficiency, productivity or employee safety. May work in manufacturing and production, or manage hotels, small apartment buildings, trailer parks or recreational facilities.
The Facilities Supervisor will oversee preventative maintenance and routine repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Group's philosophy, which is based upon four distinct core beliefs: Hospitality, Quality, Value and Family .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in training facilities department staff. Use of maintenance software to manage work load Ensures facilities preventative maintenance program is followed. Coordinates with facilities team members to complete projects. Utilizes software to track routine repairs and maintenance. Responds to emergency situations as they arise. Does daily walk through inspections of restaurants to identify any potential issues. Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly. Acts as liaison between facility staff and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems. Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility. Participates on emergency preparedness planning. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
At least three years of related facility and supervisory experience required Solid understanding of mechanical, electric and plumbing systems Five years of experience working in a restaurant environment
Skills:
Requires a hands-on, self-starter that has a clear aptitude for the systems, mechanics, and structural components of commercial buildings and maintenance. Ability to manage multiple tasks and quickly prioritize and resolve issues based on severity and impact Strong customer service orientation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
