Job Responsibilities:
Greet clients and their pets warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Oversee and support front desk staff, providing leadership and guidance to maintain a high-performance team Develop team training and growth plans to promote excellent client service and operational efficiency Manage daily schedules for appointments, services, and staff shifts Accurately track and manage timecards, attendance, and payroll support tasks Answer multi-line phones and respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area, upholding strict cleanliness and presentation standards Handle billing, invoicing, and point-of-sale transactions Provide updates to pet owners during their pets stay or appointment, including sending pictures and status updates Collaborate with veterinary or care staff to ensure accurate communication and client follow-up Resolve client concerns or escalate issues as needed to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Proven experience working with or around pets in a professional setting At least 1 year of leadership or team management experience Strong multitasking and organizational skills Proficiency with scheduling systems, point-of-sale software, and phone systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm, compassionate demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
