The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the Engineering team and overseeing the maintenance, repair, and performance of the resort's buildings, mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Essential Job Functions:
Oversee the daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring the resort is safe, well-maintained and operating efficiently. Lead, train, coach and supervise Engineering team members. Assign and follow up on daily work orders, preventive maintenance and repairs. Oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration and building systems. Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance and safety concerns. Respond to maintenance emergencies and coordinate appropriate repairs. Manage vendors, contractors and service providers. Assist with Engineering Department budgeting, purchasing and inventory control. Ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, fire/life safety and other applicable regulations. Monitor utilities and identify opportunities for energy and cost savings. Support engineering projects, renovations and capital improvements.
