This pivotal role ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other essential systems within our facilities. As a leader in facilities management, you will drive team performance, uphold safety standards, and implement strategic initiatives to optimize facility operations on a regional scale. Your expertise will directly impact the seamless functioning of critical systems vital to our organization's success. Responsibilities Lead and supervise regional facilities maintenance teams responsible for mechanical systems repair, electrical systems, HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, and industrial maintenance activities. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Oversee the management of facilities management software (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and maintenance schedules efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and enforcing safety protocols for high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating with contractors, engineers, and internal teams using project management best practices. Troubleshoot engineering issues using schematics, electrical experience, mechanical knowledge, and tools like ohmmeters to diagnose faults accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs while ensuring adherence to maintenance management standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement by supervising team performance and providing leadership that motivates high standards of excellence. Requirements 10+ Years experience in Data Centers or Critical Facilities. (Prior Navy Nuke experience is a plus) Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in a critical environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, electrical systems troubleshooting (including high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for maintaining safe working environments within industrial settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience managing facilities through Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership capabilities with supervisory experience managing diverse teams across multiple locations. Fluency in English with effective communication skills essential for team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
