The Waikoloa Village Association is looking for a dependable and experienced Aquatics & Facility Recreation Manager to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of our community pool and recreation facilities.

Qualifications:

Previous pool management, aquatic facility, maintenance, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of pool equipment, water chemistry, and routine pool maintenance. Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to perform physical duties associated with pool and facility maintenance. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work with residents and the public in a professional and courteous manner. Current pool operator certification or willingness to obtain certification, if required.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage the daily operations of the pool and recreation facilities. Maintain proper pool water chemistry and ensure compliance with applicable health and safety requirements. Inspect and maintain pool equipment, pumps, filters, and related systems. Monitor pool cleanliness and ensure the pool deck, restrooms, and surrounding areas are properly maintained. Coordinate routine cleaning, maintenance, and repairs. Maintain accurate records of pool chemical readings, maintenance, inspections, and equipment. Monitor and maintain appropriate chemical, cleaning, and maintenance supplies. Ensure pool rules, facility policies, and safety procedures are followed. Respond to maintenance and facility concerns in a timely manner. Assist with the coordination and scheduling of recreation programs, activities, and facility use. Work with WVA management and maintenance staff on repairs, projects, events, and facility needs. Help maintain recreation areas and ensure facilities are clean, safe, and ready for residents and guests. Provide a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for the Waikoloa Village community.

Pay:

$60,000.00 per year
