Posting Detail Information Salary Information $19.40 per hour. Job Summary Assist in the coordination of facilities rental and events operations including room scheduling and reservations, contract management, and general administrative/clerical responsibilities. Essential Functions Review Facilities Request forms to ensure the event aligns with DMACC policies and procedures. Create DMACC contract for facility use and collect Proof of Liability Insurance. Manage rental/event invoicing. Coordinate requests for waiver of fees and recommend designation of DMACC Sponsored Events/DMACC Event to VP of Operations/President. Maintain Pending Event Lists and communicate with stakeholders. Recommend changes to DMACC Event request forms and website. Maintain and review rates for facility rentals in coordination with Executive Campus Deans and VP of Operations. Serve as point of contact for Ankeny Campus events that are not in Building 5 or 7. Coordinate walk-throughs, communicate with affected departments, security, and Facility Planning and Management stakeholders. Required Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Three years of clerical, general office, or facility/events management experience. (Post-secondary education in any field may substitute for up to one year of the required experience. Fifteen semester hours are equivalent to six months of experience). Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and manage time. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of current software applications. Desired Qualifications Post-secondary education. Experience with organizing and managing facilities rentals.
