This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent supplemental part-time work. The Facility Cleaning Specialist will generally work one to two evenings during the week and one morning each weekend , with shifts lasting approximately three hours. The employee will be responsible primarily for cleaning and sanitizing employee and administrative areas throughout the facility. Because Realeaf Botanicals operates a licensed cannabis facility, the employee must be dependable, trustworthy, able to follow facility procedures, and comfortable working within a highly regulated environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and sanitize administrative offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, employee quarters, breakrooms, gowning areas, and laundry rooms. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as appropriate for each area. Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, countertops, tables, fixtures, doors, handles, and other high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Clean mirrors, interior glass, and other surfaces. Maintain breakroom cleanliness, including counters, tables, sinks, appliances, and floors. Clean and organize employee locker and gowning areas. Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of laundry areas. Complete laundry duties as assigned, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing reusable facility garments or cleaning materials. Replenish restroom, sanitation, and cleaning supplies as needed. Properly use and store cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Notify management of damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, sanitation issues, or needed supplies. Follow Realeaf Botanicals' security, safety, sanitation, and facility-access procedures. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in employee and administrative areas. Complete assigned cleaning tasks independently and within the scheduled shift. Perform other light cleaning and facility-support duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, organized, and attentive to detail. Previous commercial, office, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility-cleaning experience is preferred but not required. The employee must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and consistently complete assigned tasks. Because this position will work primarily when fewer employees are present, reliability and trustworthiness are especially important . Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning motions; safely use standard cleaning equipment and supplies; and lift and carry approximately 25 pounds as needed. Schedule This is a consistent, low-hour part-time position averaging approximately 6-9 hours per week : 1-2 weekday evenings + 1 weekend morning Approximately 3 hours per shift Some flexibility in the specific weekday evenings may be available based on facility needs.
