Job Description
Job Summary St. Paul UCC is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Facilities Coordinator to help care for and oversee the church's buildings, grounds, and facility operations. Responsibilities Coordinate custodial staff and volunteers Perform minor maintenance and repairs Manage projects related to facilities repairs or renovations, including planning, resource allocation and timeline management Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety inspections and repair logs Monitor building systems' performance to optimize energy efficiency and operational costs Manage supplies Prepare spaces for church and community groups Oversee building systems Work with volunteers and outside contractors when needed Skills Experience with general cleaning and maintenance is required Work independently Organize and prioritize tasks Communicate well with staff and volunteers Take pride in maintaining a welcoming and safe church facility This position is designed with flexibility in mind. The specific responsibilities and scope of the position may be adjusted based on the strengths, experience, and interests of the right candidate, as well as the evolving needs of St. Paul UCC. The normal schedule will be primarily weekdays , with occasional Sunday mornings, special services, funerals, weddings, church events, and other facility needs. Pay:
