Facility Assistant People and Animal Learning Services (PALS) Bloomington, IN Job Details Part-time $15 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Farm experience Attention to detail Farming Woodworking Full Job Description Facility Assistant - Part-Time People & Animal Learning Services (PALS) is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facility Assistant to help maintain our equine facility and beautiful campus. This position reports directly to the Facility Manager and supports the ongoing maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and appearance of the PALS property. Primary Responsibilities Perform routine facility and property maintenance Complete basic carpentry projects and repairs Assist with mowing, trimming, landscaping, and general grounds upkeep Maintain barns, fencing, gates, equipment, and outdoor work areas Identify maintenance or safety concerns and promptly report them to the Facility Manager Assist with seasonal projects, facility improvements, and other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience working in agriculture, farming, property maintenance, or a related setting Basic carpentry, repair, and landscaping skills Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to safely operate basic hand tools, power tools, and grounds-maintenance equipment Dependable, self-motivated, and able to follow directions Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Schedule and Compensation This is a part-time, hourly position working Monday through Friday.
